2 Stars - This company gouges you in every way. You pay annual maintenance for what? Any issues in year are on top of the annual charge. What is a trip charge? $346 - even if NO issues are found. I had a home inspector falsely report that the elevator had a hydraulic leak. The guy showed up 4 hours late to our scheduled appointment and was in my house 10 mins. I was charged $346! I disputed it and they gave me zero concessions. I told the new owners to choose any other company. Ridiculous. (Lisa Shipley - 4 weeks ago)
5 Stars - I have a residential elevator which was not working. I had another company try unsuccessfully several times to repair it and was ultimately told that it would require a significant modification or overhaul which was going to be very expensive. I contacted Stu at Genesis who sent Husani out to look at the elevator and see what they could do. Husani had the elevator fixed and running like new within a couple of hours of his arrival. And the repair was done at a price not even comparable to the amount the modification was going to cost. I am very grateful for their expertise and their professionalism. I highly recommend their company to anyone who might be in need of their services. Thank you Stu and Husani. (Jarrett Moss - a month ago)
3 Stars - We have been clients of the company for well over ten years. Business alts change sometimes for the better and sometimes not. When we started we did an ever six months maintenance agreement. As it turned out we had to pay a trip charge for any break down of the elevator of $200. Maintenance person live about 15 minutes from service. We got a new contract that we paid total amount for a year. Sometimes no service was needed or given which was ok elevator working fine. We had yearly checkup about three weeks ago. Elevator again was working fine, now it is not. Called this morning 11/26 because elevator not working and was told it would cost $400.to check. That’s maintenance robbery. It is a third of what the yearly contract is.Businesses are in the business to make profit s and that is understandable. But are elevators only supposed to work m-f. If we need to pay like that then based on how well the elevator usually works I think we need a refund and just pay when we need service. Not pleased at all. Disabled person can’t access other floors.Again I think the milk in this situation is Very Sour. (Shiler Mullen - 5 months ago)
1 Stars - They dont know what they are doing. Repeat same issues and elevator keep breaking down. They are very prompt on billing but not able to explain why repeat issues and elevator keep breaking. Techs are arrogant and dont stop by before leaving if they fixed issue or coming back, will just pack up & leave. (Paul Bodeka - 3 months ago)
2 Stars - Installed our second Genesis Elevator a year ago. We have had to call to repair breakdowns 4 times in a year. No one ever answers the phone, always an answering service and we are charged everytime.
I highly recommend using another provider. (Kevin Kester - 9 months ago)

5 Stars - I am so appreciative and grateful for Vanguard Elevator! More specifically Copeland Johnson. He is very knowledgeable well versed about his craft! He was knew what the problem was just by our explanation over the phone and sure enough when he came out, it was exactly as he`d said. He was able to fix the problem right there on the spot, quickly. He explained in detailed what could have caused the problem. Clearly Vanguard sets a high standard for their technicians and we are thankful for it! I would absolutely be referring this company as a go-to elevator company. 10 stars from me! (Elaine Richardson - in the last week)
5 Stars - By far the best customer service experience we`ve had and that`s saying a lot as we`ve engaged with three other local elevator companies before connecting with Vanguard Elevator. To that end, Copeland Johnson truly saved the day as he quickly diagnosed and fixed our elevator issues. Net/net, if you have an elevator that`s not working right, Vanguard Elevator is your solution, they`re highly experienced, honest and committed to keeping you safe and your elevators running smoothly. (Bruce Gordon - 3 months ago)
5 Stars - We couldn`t be more impressed by our experience with Vanguard Elevators. The technician returned my initial call after normal business hours. He gave us a general quote over the phone and clearly explained their services. On the day of our appointment, he arrived at our home and within minutes diagnosed our problem, fixed the problem and completed a general service check-up. Finally...he stuck to the quoted amount. 😲 There was no gouging with additional fees, no required 2-year services agreement, no trickery of any type. These people have our business for life! (Tracers - 3 weeks ago)
5 Stars - Vanguard Elevator is the absolute best servicing company we’ve had in years. When our elevator manufacturer discontinued servicing our elevators, Copeland came to the rescue. He is truly one of the nicest and most respectful technicians we have. He always comes when we call and always does a thorough job. We truly appreciate you Copeland. Thank you so much for having our backs!! (Perri Cash - 4 months ago)
5 Stars - Love this company. Quality service, great team, and you can`t beat the value. Cost of updates, repairs and maintenance have been much lower compared to other companies. Lower building costs while maintaining compliance is always a good thing. Keep up the good work! (Matt James - 2 months ago)

1 Stars - WORST ELEVATOR COMPANY EVER!!! Our elevators have been down for 40 days with no repair in sight. Our residents are walking up 10 flights of stairs multiple times a day for 40 days. They are awful to get in communication with and pass the blame around. No accountability. Do not recommend, go with any other company. (Airis Myking - 2 months ago)
5 Stars - Chris the supervisor was phenomenal. He provided the most outstanding , extraordinary. Customer care ever!! He deserves a 5 -step salary increase immediately!! We thank him so much for his professionalism !!! (Tara Ivey - 3 months ago)
1 Stars - It took two months for them to fix our issue. Three times they were supposed to show up, they did not. This is not the first bad experience we`ve had with them.
Definitely WOULD NOT recommend. (Greg West - 2 months ago)
1 Stars - Unfortunately, the lowest I am able to rate them is 1 star. Their customer service is the absolute worst. You have to constantly follow up on them to get answers regarding billing and service. It took us three months to get our annual elevator test scheduled which caused us to fail our first inspection with the county. I am told by one person that our account is current and we have nothing to worry about, only to be told by someone else months later that we have $19k of back bills. You are constantly passed along to someone else in email threads (if you can even get someone to email you back). It is my understanding that all elevator companies are awful, but I can say my experience with Otis has been the worst. 0/10 would recommend. (Emily Nouzies - 8 months ago)
1 Stars - The absolute worst company I have ever worked with! My building has been without working elevators for months. They don`t reply to emails or calls and we can`t get an answer as to when we will be back in order. It`s a nightmare!! (Emily Little - 11 months ago)

5 Stars - Ruben did an outstanding job. After removing the existing handrail he secured the hardware for later reinstallation. The chairlift operates flawlessly and has increased my father`s mobility beyond expectations. We highly recommend AmeriGlide of Marietta. (Agnes Pace - 2 months ago)
5 Stars - Contacted this company regarding getting a service call out to troubleshoot my stairlift. Staff was very friendly and helpful, even got me on the phone with their technician to see if they could resolve issue without coming out to home. They did have to send someone out and luckily for me they were able to come out within 3 hours after I made my call on my off day so it worked out. The technician was knowledgeable and helpful and resolved an issue I’ve been trying to troubleshoot on my own for past week. Thank you for being a good honest company with up front pricing, would definitely contact you again in the future if I need assistance. (Veronica Perez - a week ago)
5 Stars - Paige, thank you so much for your outstanding customer service, knowledge and kind spirit! Once again AmeriGlide took a very stressful situation and made it a pleasant experience. Everyone was right on time, professional, and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend AmeriGlide and the excellent team to anyone needing their service. (Glenda Murray - in the last week)
5 Stars - Highly impressed with the excellent customer support by Hayley and Lisa, as well as the excellent installation by Efrin. I highly recommend AmeriGlide and will use them again for our basement stairlift !!! (Andy Schade - 2 months ago)
5 Stars - Installer Efren Zoleta was on time, personable, and professional. Installation was quicker than I expected, but looked flawless. The equipment looks to be high quality and can definitely carry its weight limit of 350 pounds.
The positioning and movement of the chair are perfect to let our elderly mother easily transition from her walker to the lift and back. I cannot overstate how this improves the safety and our ability to care for our elderly mother. (Steve Fuller - a month ago)

5 Stars - These people are amazing. They have supported my mission of elevating autism for years. Recently they invited me to this test tower. It was truly stunning. The people here are amazing as well. The twin glass elevator is amazing as is the views. (elevaTOURS (dieselducy) - 11 months ago)
3 Stars - Came here for a work function. Don`t like the fact that getting from the parking deck to the main buildings is confusing and difficult. Took us forever to find out how to get out of the parking deck because every exit door was locked, so you find yourself endlessly walking around, and then when you find a door that`s unlocked, it leads you back to where you started. I finally get to one building, then security says our function is at another building, which isn`t connected to the parking deck, so now you`ll get anxiety that you`ll never find your car ever again. 😩🤦🏿Parking prices are expensive af, thank goodness parking was validated.🙏🏿💯 If you`re afraid of heights and get motion sickness easily, don`t take the elevator, because it moves up and down way too fast and the magnificent view at high speeds doesn`t help.😱 You`re definitely prone to make a mess if you`re not prepared.🥴🤢🤮 (Mike M. - 4 months ago)
5 Stars - Building is beautiful, spacious, and innovative. The glass elevator ride to the 27th floor was like flying through the air. Smooth, fast, and the views, perfect!!

1 Stars - More like ThyssenKURUPT!
Honestly, TKE my least favorite company of the pandemic era.
I’ll try to summarize my complaints below. Some are intended to be humorous, but the ones that aren’t written as such are based in fact.
- horrible service
- bad on so many levels
- shares initials with the worst national fraternity in the USA (TKE)
- gaudy, unnecessarily tall HQ building in Smyrna casts a shadow over the Cortland at the Battery resident swimming pools
- shortly after the TKE building was completed, the ThyssenKURUPT elevators in my Cortland residential building went out of service for THREE. CONSECUTIVE. MONTHS. This is a problem if you are a dog owner who lives on a high level floor… all of a sudden, you find yourself hiking seven flights of stairs three times a day. For THREE. CONSECUTIVE. MONTHS… while staring at an elevator HQ building the whole time.
- the only TKE abomination that has bothered me more than the three month interruption of my home life is the SEVEN MONTH (and counting) interruption of my work life. You guessed it, my office has 5 TKE elevators - 4 passenger and 1 cargo. Building management notifies us of an “Elevator Modernization Project” that should only take 2-4 months to complete. This makes no sense as our elevators were working perfectly well before and had been kept looking nearly new by our building maintenance team.
- So, they decided to unnecessarily update our elevators starting with the passenger elevators - two at a time so that there’s still some functionality. Turns out it takes 2-4 months (read: 4 months) to update each set of elevators. After a grueling 8.5 months, the passenger elevators are updated (the ONLY discernible difference being newly installed security cameras paired with an LCD panel — invading privacy if you ask me).
- ThyssenKurupt then decides to update our cargo elevator as well. Each passenger elevator must be fitted with protective padding during this process, so it feels like you’re in an insane asylum’s loony room every time you need to hit the eighth floor.
- The ‘modernized’ elevators are now GLITCHY in ways they never have been before. Most notably, the doors start to close, then reopen, then start to close OVER AND OVER again virtually every time I ride the elevator.
- Despite repeated complaints to building management, there’s been no progress for the past month.
So, in conclusion:
- ThyssenKurupt is an ineffective company.
- They ruined my home life for a quarter of a year through poor service.
- They have been ruining my work life for nearly a year by making old elevators WORSE (Matthew Johnson - a year ago)

5 Stars - The tour of the test tower was fabulous! Very interesting place with an excellent tour guide! The view from the observation level is really wonderful. (Bob R - 2 months ago)
5 Stars - I don’t know about elevator repair at all. What I do know is that on the ground floor of this building is a café called Social Kitchen. This place is tucked up out of the way and is a well-kept secret. If you’re in the area visit Social Kitchen, if it’s your lucky day Chef Andie will make you one of her signature smoothies. 🤞🏻😉 (Hierophant Prime - 10 months ago)
1 Stars - I am so ashamed of this company! The product quality is poor, and the service is even worse! We installed their elevator only four years ago, and we have had to call emergency services more than ten times a year. The elevator frequently malfunctions, and the service charge 600 dollars per hour, with emergency service costing 900 dollars! What is even more ridiculous is that I have called several times and left messages, but no one answers the phone, and there is no service available. (meijing keji - a year ago)
1 Stars - My fiancé dropped his phone down the elevator shaft when we were visiting Hampton, VA for Christmas on 12/23/2022, staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. The front desk called this company, we were quoted $350 an hr, & my fiancé accepted because all of our info for where we were going was in his phone & our 6hr driving trip would`ve been ruined!! We leave & come back but the tech had already came. We were told that he charged us for 45mins, even though the service took him 5mins to perform on-site, & at a rate of $717 an hr. We did not agree to that amount!!! The front desk ppl were even shocked at the price!!! Its the holidays & this company ripped us off!!
The hotel immediately charged us $350, granted it should have been less based on the prior quote we were given. Shame on this company for ripping ppl off, especially during the holidays!!!
May you never have to deal with this company in any important situations!! They will take advantage of you without remorse!!! (c b - a year ago)

1 Stars - The company is impacting my client base. Literally four hours of their service team working on the Elevators it shuts down. This is happening frequently.. I have been in my Industry 30 years and never experience this. If upper Management valued their product and services they would be here. Where is the concern for the safety of people. The only solution is to place their elevators on the side of the road and state this belongs to Schindler. (Faith Baker - 3 months ago)
1 Stars - One star is far too generous for this company. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with your account rep or anyone who can help. My elevator was placed out of service on 1/22 due to a phone issue. I was told by the tech that they were going to overnight the parts and install the next day. It is now 1/25, several phone calls and getting bounced around later with no update or resolution. Anyone you try to call has a full mailbox or simply doesn`t answer. I would highly suggest choosing another company because Schindler is absolutely infuriating to work with. (Emily Nouzies - 2 months ago)
1 Stars - This company hired me through a staffing agency to start today. I went to work with the flu because I knew I would get fired. I stated I took medication to control the symptoms of the flu. They hired and also fired me today. Stated I looked "sleepy". I do not recommend this company. It lacks core values. Just see the feedback here in Google.Core values define not only who the company is, but the people within it. So far they are a team of hypocriticals that do not value the efforts of employees to show up at work. They hired a group of 20-25 people that perhaps declined other job offers to be there. Eliminated 10 people with no mercy fired them on the same day. Thumbs down. I will report this incident to U.S. Department of Labor. (Ingrid Valdes - a month ago)
1 Stars - Aweful elevator. Aweful service. My company installed two new elevators which started operating in 2021. Since then the elevators get stucked at different times. They take forever to come to service. The technicians say that they don`t find any problem but the elevators get stucked frequently. Since we are in a service industry, we had to compensate our customers everytime they gets stuckucked in the elevators but schindler never acknowledge that. They are super efficient when the question of charging the clients comes. They don`t delay in sending invoices for payments. Their managers don`t even response even after calling mutiple times. I`ll never recommend ever this company, specially in Georgia, USA. (Razib Eftekhar - 4 months ago)
1 Stars - This is a horrible elevator company. I live in an apartment complex in Decatur, GA., and our elevator is down more than it is working. It has been down for 11 days now and I know they have been contacted as I was in the office when they were called 8 day ago and still nobody has been out to get it back up and running. This is nothing new, it breaks down at least twice a month and on average is down for 10 days or more then when it starts working were lucky if it works for 2 weeks. This is absolutely ridiculous and this company should be ashamed of themselves. (Steven Turner - 5 months ago)
