1 Stars - Our apartment building has 1 elevator. You would think a professional company would go above and beyond to make sure the materials and labour are %100 ready to go before shutting down the only elevator. The other day i walked by and the labourer was on the phone getting trained on what to cut next. At least send someone that knows what they are doing...3 months everyone in this building has to sherpa their groceries up the stairwell. 1 Stars - Would give zero stars if possible, this company will recommend a contractor (friend of management) , Al Walker who is then paying elevator one back kick backs for all the work they throw him. He is just one guy, (no right hand man…no one will work with him regularly, because he lies and rips them off) he can’t do all the work in a timely manner as he is fairly old, Elevator one won’t take liability for their referral and recommendations, they just take your money. They ensured that is was quality work, that it was done right and that in the end that I was beyond satisfied with the final product. They took extra time to walk me through all the elements of the work done and they advocated well on behalf of Camp Kwasind in understanding our needs and how we operate. 5 Stars - Incredible service. We needed a new maintenance contract, called Elevator One and had a quote by the end of the day. After the initial installation, our elevator was problematic, but after Elevator One took over the contract, we`ve had no issues with our machine. 5 Stars - I had an annual maintenance service in early this year, 2024. I experienced no noticeable issues other than it made cranky sounds when it pulls. The service team of two people came to fix that issue by replacing the part. Now I can`t hear any noise. Everything I deal with them from start to finish is seamless, nothing I should doubt about. 5 Stars - Kevin and Tyler were experienced and attentive technicians. they replaced the damaged elevator cable and reset our elevator with precision. they fastened the new cable against the wall and prevented it from dangling as was previously. we truly appreciated their professional services. many thanks to Darren the manager and dedicated staff at Cambridge. highly recommend. I am a construction developer and find that many companies do not follow through and have many extra`s for any simple maintenance. As a result of my initial review we finally got a response from a certified Cambridge service company (Diamond Elevator- they were great). They identified a number of issues from the original installation contractor and seem to have everything running smoothly again. I`ll update my review again after a few months and let you know if we`re finally out of the failure / repair loop.

Avoid any home with a Cambridge Elevating unit, and definitely look at other brands if you’re doing an install! We moved into a San Francisco condo with a new Cambridge elevator and it has been a nightmare. It has broken down several times a year, and it takes MONTHS to get repaired each time. 5 Stars - What a great company to work with!! We ordered elevator door frames for a four house project in Ithaca and the contractor had questions about the bore of the doors that I could not answer. I made a conference call to Joe Hickey with our contractor on the phone and he was able to answer the questions with great knowledge. The next day, the person making the doors called me with another question about the bore of the doors and once again I reached out to Joe to ask him if he would call the gentleman to answer his questions. Within 5 minutes of my email, Joe made the call and everything was resolved. Now that`s great customer service! We will definitely work with Belco Doors the next time we need doors or frames!! 1 Stars - I`ve never visited here. I am only rating them on their customer service. I do not know who I spoke to on the phone but I was pretty insulted by whoever it was. I called to inquire about a product, mainly to learn about how they work so I could see if it would be viable for a job I am working on. I didn`t see that this company was based out of Canada but was quickly informed of its location as soon as the customer service rep and I started speaking. I`m sure my southern accent gave it away that the job wasn`t going to be in Canada. Even so, I still wanted to inquire about the product for my own knowledge. I get that this person had no business continuing to speak with me since we would not be working together. Also I`ll admit, it was a cold call and I know people are busy, that one is on me. But, the level of rudeness I was met with is inexcusable from any customer service standpoint. I was cut off from my sentence, the rep took a very snarky tone with me, and then hung up on me. 5 Stars - I work in the lift industry, and I admit I don`t know everything. There are code issues we have to be careful with. A local ADA guy here in Houston was giving me trouble, so I called up Niagara Belco, and was given to Joe Hickey. He shared his expertise and gave me the knowledge I needed to fight the fight. 5 Stars - Our church had a stair lift installed by Alliance Elevator. What an amazing company! They were so professional but yet very personable with us. Tony Pallo, the Operations Manager is top notch, he was always on time with appointments and very organized in getting the job done. He was always available to take our calls and quick to respond to emails. He trained a few of us on how to operate the Lift and he was very patient( thanks Tony). Seniors were without an elevator for about a year. This crew were clueless on how to address the issue.
Since then, the government has approved the final sign off and these seniors are now waiting for this company to sign off.
Disgusting that they cannot get one person to drive down to the town so that these poor seniors can actually use the elevator. (Blair B - a month ago)

1 Stars - Very rude service technician, this company was at the building I live in today servicing one of the two elevators we have. A woman with a cain and using an oxygen machine was treated with such disrespect for using the elavtor that had some parts in it. If you don’t want people using that elevator put it in service mode. This guy told her she was taking to long to get out of the elevator and that she should have waited for the other one, our building is old and you can’t tell were the elevator is unless your on the first floor. I still can’t believe that he would talk to someone who can barely walk and in oxygen like that. If you have a building with older people and don’t want them disrespected consider another company.
