1 Stars - I’m cancelled my contract with quality but they keep sending me bills and threatening to send my bills to a lawyer for collection. Instead of simply cancelling my account they threaten me. 1 Stars - Driver proceeds to use no indicator in merge lane, then starts to road rage after i honk at him.. Throws his arm out the window then does 40 in a 60 continuously for a solid 5 minutes.. We separate ways and he ends up turning around to follow me to a restaurant and waits outside till i come out.. Hire some new drivers absolutely crazy! (TJ Sutherland - 6 months ago)

The fact that there’s already a 1 star review just from their careless and uncourteous driving habits speaks volumes. The standard of work they hold themselves to and provide to their customers is beyond exceptional. The level of communication is unprecedented, with excellent customer service, rapid responses, and a phenomenal desire to help problem solve. The quality of the work and maintenance required is at the highest level, a true rarity in this business. They maintain their integrity and workmanship while also being cost effective, every cost has its purpose without massive overhead. 5 Stars - My building has had a really positive experience with Element Elevators. There have been some issues neglected by one big name elevator company, so I decided to try working with a boutique company and it proved to be a really good decision. I`d like to mention here the excellent communication with Lucy, the quality of the work completed by elevator technicians led by Florin and generally the professionalism of the whole team. 5 Stars - This is one of the best elevator company that I have worked with in the last 25 years. Most reliable, excellent costumer service, with extensive knowledge on the products availble, making recomandation based on client needs, this way we can align with our budget without compromising in quality or safety. I had an issue with the internal phones and the man company send us a quote of $3000 per elevator to replace the phones. I contacted Element Elevator and on the first site visit for the quotation the fixed the phones by simply program it properly to interface with our new phone system. This is just a small example. 5 Stars - Element Elevators and their entire team are highly competent, knowledgeable , respectful, conscientious and responsible to their workmanship and their customers. Approximately two years ago they completed a full overhaul of our 4 elevators in our older eleven floor residential apartment buildings and continued with a service contractor. I couldn`t be happier with the quality and time efficiency of their work. They remind me of how business use to run , with complete pride in workmanship. While the tech couldn`t find the problem right away, he was persistent and adamant on getting to the issue. He was also very friendly and courteous. I would recommend highly. I called for a next day service, not only did they accommodate for the day but also they accommodated me with the meeting time. 5 Stars - I cannot speak highly enough of this service - from the mechanics, technicians to the administrative folk. They are amazing! We were in a real pickle when my father died and my mother was coming to stay with us. We needed the elevator badly and the other service we`d been trying to get to fix it kept us waiting 6 weeks. Not only did Ted send reassuring emails to let us know they`d help us out, I learned he had been on vacation out of the country! Wayne and Alec came and worked hard (and long - even late on the Friday of a holiday weekend) to make sure we had the elevator running for my mother`s arrival. Not only that, their sensitivity and condolences were so sincere and extremely comforting to all of us at such a tough time. Since then, we were impressed at the well organized maintenance plans they provided for us. There was no hard sell at all - simply an opportunity to choose what worked for us. It was so clearly laid out, it was simple to choose. We are delighted that they will come regularly and that they will stimulate the appointment making at appropriate intervals to ensure regular elevator maintenance. Since then, we had one other nasty time when we were both stuck in the elevator with lots of groceries - including melting icecream. We phoned the number - and Ted`s cheerful voice greeted us and helped problem solve how to get out of the elevator. He was willing to come and help if we couldn`t manage over the phone. His calm demeanour, genuine care for people and pride in his work make us loyal customers! Not to be forgotten is the very personable Muniza who has been cheerful and helpful over the phone on several occasions, facilitating easy bill payment and appointment scheduling. The technicians are not knowledgeable
In my building one elevator broke down one month ago until now nothing has been fixed.

Technicians (John) who claim to be in danger when their slow work forces them to share elevators with multiple people of colour have obviously found a home here. 1 Stars - Complete crap. They`ve been in our building everyday for FIVE MONTHS and not only have all the elevators been out of service at least three times this week. People have been stuck in them! Stroke patients and other medically fragile people are being forced to walk upstairs and down and all the company has to say for itself is direct your complaints to the building management. Unable to provide any explanation as to why elevators keep malfunctioning. Very dismissive. Very uncaring about quality of service and lack there of. (Michelle Miller - 7 years ago)

1 Stars - We used Pace elevators to install in our family’s new custom built home. Matt was very friendly in the beginning and ensured they’d follow us along and ensure no problems arise after the installation. It worked for a few weeks and then we started experiencing problems. They refuse to send an experienced technician to address the issue and now we’re stuck using a different company to come and fix the issue that were still having. I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST using them for any residential or commercial elevators. We are also now in contact with TSSA about the quality and experience we’ve had with Pace. 1 Stars - This elevator company is not trustworthy. Our reputable elevator company has to fix other elevators whom they supposedly serviced yet left in non-working order. They send a young, inexperienced technician who needs to constantly be on the phone with their manager rather than the manager visiting your home. They bill you for their time yet leave your elevator unusable in your time of need. Parts ordered rush do not arrive in a timely manner. They supposedly fixed parts of our elevator yet left it in non-working order when our daughter was recovering from knee surgery. Do not use this company if you need a working elevator. 1 Stars - Absolutely horrible customer service. We had an elevator installed in our house by this company and their technicians did such a bad job, the elevator constantly stops working. They used to come fix it in about 20 mins and the elevator would work for a day and then stop working again. We have asked them for the electrical blueprints so that we can have a reputable elevator electrician repair it but they won’t even answer our calls anymore. If you are looking to have a residential elevator installed, do NOT go with this company. (Sarah Mallo - a month ago)

1 Stars - Very disappointed with our experience with Pace Elevators just like Emad below. They promised they could take care of Schindler elevators but one of our elevators was shut down for 8 months straight. They also told us about a crack in the sling of one of the elevators in December 2022 but did not report it until September 2023 to the TSSA because we rejected their modernization quote. They told us to repair the crack that we had to modernize the elevator at around $170,000. Thankfully we are no longer working with them and have found a new elevator company who repair the crack for much less and we do not have to modernize the elevator at all. 5 Stars - Puneet and his entire team of technicians looked after the entire process with professionalism and extreme care. They were very informative, explaining and discussing every stage from drawings to final inspection.

5 Stars - I moved into my brand new house with a 5 stop elevator which was contracted by the most horrible company that gave me so much trouble the first 2 years I dealt with them. Their service was so bad that I was willing to let go of the under warranty free services and find a different company to maintain it. To my luck I found express elevators and they genuinely turned the entire experience around for me. They support employees and everyone collaborates in a friendly environment. They are open to new idea, recommendations and also they provide required training if you need. They have straight and clear expectations from employees. 5 Stars - I moved into my brand new house with a 5 stop elevator which was contracted by the most horrible company that gave me so much trouble the first 2 years I dealt with them. Their service was so bad that I was willing to let go of the under warranty free services and find a different company to maintain it. You would think a professional company would go above and beyond to make sure the materials and labour are %100 ready to go before shutting down the only elevator. The other day i walked by and the labourer was on the phone getting trained on what to cut next. At least send someone that knows what they are doing...3 months everyone in this building has to sherpa their groceries up the stairwell. 1 Stars - Not recommending this elevator company, my elevator broke down numerous times within one and half year, scheduled technician to service and got No Call No Show twice.
Elevator broke down again last week and technician came over said parts needed to be changed and Lakeview Elevator charged us over $300 for the half an hour visit just to tell us parts needed to be replaced, elevator still not working, and I need to pay another 2 hours labour for replace the parts for next visit. 1 Stars - I was really surprised to see so many 1 Star reviews about the company`s drivers but here I am because this driver almost caused me to rear end him because he cut me off as I was slowing down for a red light. Apparently being first in line for a red light is super important to them.

5 Stars - I had an annual maintenance service in early this year, 2024. I experienced no noticeable issues other than it made cranky sounds when it pulls. The service team of two people came to fix that issue by replacing the part. Now I can`t hear any noise. Everything I deal with them from start to finish is seamless, nothing I should doubt about. They identified a number of issues from the original installation contractor and seem to have everything running smoothly again. I`ll update my review again after a few months and let you know if we`re finally out of the failure / repair loop. (ORIGINAL) Avoid any home with a Cambridge Elevating unit, and definitely look at other brands if you’re doing an install! We moved into a San Francisco condo with a new Cambridge elevator and it has been a nightmare. It has broken down several times a year, and it takes MONTHS to get repaired each time. 1 Stars - They deserve 0 stars. Every time they come in for maintenance checks on our elevators, they say everything is in order and leave, not 24 hours later at least 1 elevator goes out of service. Every. Single. Time. Also every time they come in to repair, they say a part needs to be ordered, a month later they finally fix it. Elevator works for 3 weeks tops and out of service again.
Latest case, maintenance check in Nov 2023. Elevator breaks a day later and isn`t fixed until Jan 5th. Surprise surprise, same elevator just broke again Jan 26th.

The environment of the classroom also helped as it was comfortable and spacious. Unlimited coffee was provided which was my favourite part haha. Raj, the incredible instructor, is a very down to earth person, he is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in this industry. He was most helpful in answering all the questions I had about the next and future steps regarding this career. I would certainly recommend this training for any new comer into the trade. 1 Stars - Ordered an elevator in 2022. Received in 2023. Received a top cab that was cracked; partially installed. It`s now 2024.. going on 7 weeks. Fully paid for job. Rather than advise when part will arrive, they place you on hold. (Joseph Benson - a month ago)
4 Stars - The installers finally repaired our lift took over 8 months! All over a misadjusted limit switch from the factory. Apparently the technician with the installers (101 Mobility, who are very good ) has follow Savaria’s instructions. Savaria’s finally sent a representative who repaired the limits and now the lift has worked properly for the last several months! I’m still very cautious about running the lift when no one‘s around since there is no reset switch in the cab and if you’re in the cab when unit trips you’re stuck! there is an emergency switch that releases the doors but isn’t much good if you in the middle of travel in an enclosed space . I requested a electrical schematic from Savaria’s, which after warranty is up have a reset switch installed in the cab most likely by 101 Mobility , but was told Savaria would not give me the schematic and 101 Mobility doesn’t have one. Bottom line the lift now works after 8 months and always have a cell phone on you if your using a lift or getting on an elevator anywhere. (Chip Durant - a month ago)
1 Stars - Worst service company do deal with. Was told almost a year ago by technician that a part needed to be replaced because it was not sufficient. It can cause the elevator to stop. Which it has. With me in it. Kenneth Lau never does anything about it despite multiple emails. Service is not this company`s strong point. Fire department getting tired of this. 1 Stars - So far pretty poor. I ordered a Vuelift elevator a year ago and had the install Sept. 6th. My dealings with the local dealer in Northern CA have been good so far. They came to install and found two pieces of glass were cut incorrectly. They said they would ship replacements by 10/25 some seven weeks later. To get out of re-cutting two new glass panels they sent out the install team again asking them to cut and grind metal on-site so one of those glass pieces would fit. The ugly cut steel was covered by another panel, so it`s not exposed. Just knowing they made on-site modifications without engineering designs or supervision concerns me. The installer said we will see if the glass holds up during operation as it is tightly wedged into place. The other piece of glass which was cut too short has still not shipped a week after the promise date and they haven`t been able to supply an update. This is a $100K glass elevator not a used car. That`s an insult to used car dealers everywhere. Piss poor so far on the part of Savaria. My home build is delayed and the cost impacts are multiplying. I`m posting this in the hope that someone at Savaria will see this as my calls and messages to them have been ignored. (Peter Shamshoian - 5 months ago)

Spent a lot of money on a lift and it`s a hit or miss if it works for you or not.. The service technician is amazing but he can only do what the company wants him to.. The elevator in condo building 5170 Winston Churchill Blvd, Mississauga, ON has been out of order a number of times for a week each time. The technicians haven`t a clue what is the issue. We keep getting happy talk that it will be fixed soon. I have a disability and must use the elevator. What am I supposed to do when no one is prepared to fix it? 2 Stars - a new (2-3 y.o) condo building with 2 elevators, 1 of each has been consistently down every other month (sometimes with 6 week parts procurement times), currently have both elevators down. not sure if it`s product quality or service quality, but they have no problems charging for every service on an item that operates like a train with little external factors.. 1 Stars - We`ve had all elevators down in our 35 story building for a month, the one that is intermittently working keeps breaking down. It is at the point where it is a health and safety issue for the elderly and disabled in our building. KONE doesn`t appear to think this is an issue. Blaming it on procurement issues is passing the buck, a reserve of essential materials should be maintained. (Jordan Leavitt - 4 years ago)
1 Stars - Our experience was underwhelming and worse. Don`t show up for any monthly inspections. Only respond to entrapment`s and downs then charge for those visits. Years and years of empty service logbooks. Threatened legal action when cancelling. Use any other company. (Angus Betty - 2 years ago)
